Please note that different metal finishes will vary in their etched appearance. Some samples are shown here.

Anodised aluminium appears white – as per the Fresh Up multi-tool.

Stainless etches dark grey – see the Cookes pocket knife.

Satin chrome will etch a charcoal brown as seen in the star.

Chrome products appear either white or dark grey.

Wood etches differently on every product – according to the type of wood and the grain. An example is shown of a memo-cube holder for Carter Holt Harvey.
